Sharing Resources
The website I chose was Zerotothree.org. The focus of this website is for newborns up to the age of three, they focus on making sure the foundations for learning are built strong. While zerotothree.org is meant to aid children's learning, the content is meant for professionals and parents that interact with the children on a daily basis and that deal with their learning outcomes. The baby brain map was the most interesting article that I found on the website. It is difficult to study the brain of an infant or toddler but x-rays and new age technology are allowing us more into the mind of our newborns, infants, and toddlers.

Hi Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that there is so much to know about babies and the complicated things that happen in their brains every single day during their development. I learned so much about it in the previous course of Early Childhood Development. It is simply fascinating. Did the website mention any concerns in using this type of technology in learning about baby brains? Is the radiation harmful or are there other effects?
Thanks,
Divya
Danielle, I agree that there is a lot to know about babies. I am the new grandmother of a 6day old beautiful little girl and I am learning more and more in regard to my grandchild than I did with my own children. I want to know everything there is so that she will have a greater chance for success than I or my children did. The website is a good choice.
ReplyDeleteI will check this site out.
